Our Splendid mix microgreens is a healthy combination of bok choy, red cabbage and kohlrabi.
Bok choy or pok choi microgreen is a type of Chinese cabbage that adds a crisp texture and cabbage-like flavour to any dish. It is an easy microgreen to grow in terms of technique and length of germination. It is low in calories and fortified with folate that helps in the production and repair of DNA.
Red cabbage microgreens have a crisp and tender peppery flavour, plus a concentrated amount of vitamin C and beta carotene- which is a potent antioxidant that is excellent for the brain and skin. Also in this mix is kohlrabi microgreens, which have a sweet broccoli taste and is rich in vitamins B6 and B9. These vitamins improve the immune system and aids in the formation of red blood cells.
